2014-15 Offseason Report

8075004

The 2013-14 NFL season has officially come to an end. The Seattle Seahawks, as a result of winning this years Super Bowl, have taken the Vince Lombardi Trophy back to the “12th man” in Seattle, requiring the other 31 teams that were not so fortunate to go back to the drawing board. One of those teams is our beloved San Diego Chargers. San Diego lost to the Denver Broncos 24-17 in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. However, despite being ruled out of playoff contention by almost everyone half-way through the season, they made the playoffs. Here’s how the Chargers will/can improve their odds heading into next season:

Chargers/Broncos Preview 2.0:

San Diego continues their amazing run through the playoffs. Following a 27-10 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, the Chargers head to Mile High Stadium once again to take on Peyton Manning and the Broncos. While nobody thought San Diego could have made it this far into the Playoffs nor that they can beat the Broncos a second time, they are looking to prove everyone wrong.

4 Things learned from San Diego’s 27-20 victory over Denver

What a night. Thursday Night Football always has something interesting in store. There are many bright spots about the Chargers play last night, here are just a few of them.

Chargers/Broncos Preview:

MANNING RIVER

One Manning down, One to go. Coming off of a blowout win last week against the New York Giants, the Chargers prepare for a game that could make or break their season. San Diego looks to carry the moment from last week’s win into this week, seeking a win against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.

Chargers/Dolphins Preview:

Miami Dolphins vs. San Diego ChargersA lot of people don’t like to think one football game to be more important than another. However, this is a very important game for both the Dolphins and the Chargers. In fact, the scenario for both teams is very similar.

Mid-Season Report

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at San Diego Chargers

The Chargers are in third place in the AFC West division in the NFL with a 4-4 record. They are behind the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos who hold the first and second spot. Those two teams are arguably the best teams in the NFL at this point in the season. You could also argue that the Chargers are playing in the best division the NFL has to offer thus far in the season.
