Chargers Games

4 Things learned from San Diego’s 27-20 victory over Denver

What a night. Thursday Night Football always has something interesting in store. There are many bright spots about the Chargers play last night, here are just a few of them.

Chargers/Broncos Preview:

MANNING RIVER

One Manning down, One to go. Coming off of a blowout win last week against the New York Giants, the Chargers prepare for a game that could make or break their season. San Diego looks to carry the moment from last week’s win into this week, seeking a win against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.

The San Diego Chargers find themselves facing yet another team that has the same overall record as them. The only exception is that one team is hot and one team is not. San Diego just so happens to be the “not” team.

Chargers/Dolphins Preview:

Miami Dolphins vs. San Diego ChargersA lot of people don’t like to think one football game to be more important than another. However, this is a very important game for both the Dolphins and the Chargers. In fact, the scenario for both teams is very similar.

Mid-Season Report

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at San Diego Chargers

The Chargers are in third place in the AFC West division in the NFL with a 4-4 record. They are behind the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos who hold the first and second spot. Those two teams are arguably the best teams in the NFL at this point in the season. You could also argue that the Chargers are playing in the best division the NFL has to offer thus far in the season.

Chargers off to hot start despite Week 1 loss to Texans

“The Texans? That’s who the Chargers play week one? Ohh boy”… is my exact reaction when I saw the Chargers schedule for this season. As you can tell, I didn’t have a lot of hope for this game. I thought blowout after the end of the first half. Many of you other fans might have thought the same thing. A rookie head coach, rookie GM, a new offensive scheme, a declining quarterback and a defense that lost a lot of firepower and veteran leadership. Let’s just skip this weeks tailgate party and tell our “buds” we had a funeral to go to. Well, I have to say.. ¬†they sure proved me wrong.¬†
