Chargers drop 6th Straight, Norv on hot seat

The Norv Turner hot seat is heating up each week. The Chargers dropped their 6th straight game on Sunday when they fell to the Broncos 16-13 on an overtime field goal by Matt Prater.

The Chargers continue to struggle. During their six game skid, the Chargers have lost five games by seven points or less. Philip Rivers has 10 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in those six games. However, Rivers didn’t play all that bad on Sunday. He completed 19 of 36 passes and had one touchdown.

After Nick Novak missed a game winning 53 yard field goal wide ride, Tim Tebow had a 12-yard gain and Willis McGahee ran 24 yards up the middle to set up Prater’s 37 yard winning kick, which was right down the middle.

Look Ahead: The Chargers now sit at 4-7 and last in the AFC West. The final five games aren’t easier for the Chargers. They still have the Ravens, Lions, and Raiders for their final 3 games.
